3rd shift - need to be flexible to work 1st & 2nd shift as needed for coverage.

Shift Flexibility:
The Bulk Loader must be able to work 3rd shift and occasionally 12-hour shifts, depending on scheduling needs. This includes covering for other Bulk Loaders' sick days, vacation days, or other long-term absences.

Key Responsibility Areas (Essential Job Functions)

  • Responsible for understanding and following all personnel and equipment safety policies, GMP and Food Safety/HACCP standards, and sanitation policies.

  • Must be able to conduct bulk loader tasks in the ERP system and Plant Control systems.

  • Must be certified to and perform all first-pass quality tests on bulk and pack loads in a timely manner.

  • Must be able to execute effectively with customer orders (ELEMEDS).

  • Responsible for pulling the correct flours or flour blends from designated storage bins to drop load bins.

  • Responsible for applying correct ingredients to flour pulls.

  • Ensure accurate batch management of ingredients.

  • Ensure proper weights are loaded into trailers.

  • Must be able to perform accurate inventory counts and data entry into the ERP system.

  • Must possess adequate comprehension and mechanical skills to:

    • Perform basic equipment maintenance and troubleshooting for all blending plant equipment.

    • Accurately and legibly complete all required reports.

  • Must wear required PPE at all times.

  • Must be able to work in elevated heights and wear a full-body harness when needed.

  • Perform sanitation and cleaning tasks as assigned to maintain Environmental, Health, Safety, and Food Safety standards.

  • Must utilize effective communication and interpersonal skills with internal and external personnel to ensure operational efficiency.

  • Demonstrate commitment to high production standards and team collaboration.

  • Ability to handle pressure and stress effectively.

  • Must act ethically in all decision-making.

  • Must be able to comprehend and follow both written and verbal instructions.

  • Communicate effectively with peers and supervisors.

  • Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.

  • Perform other job tasks/functions as assigned by management.

Working Conditions

  • Both indoor and outdoor environments

  • Exposure to extreme cold and extreme heat (temperatures above 85°F for over an hour)

  • High noise levels (sufficient to require shouting to communicate)

  • Hazards present in the workplace

  • Atmospheric conditions include flour dust, which may affect the respiratory system and skin

  • Dust mask is required in certain work areas

Physical requirements and working conditions (with or without reasonable accommodation):

  • Must be able to ascend and descend stairs, multiple times per day

  • Climb ladder, step and extension

  • Able to lift to 50 pounds and exert 20 pounds of force

  • Frequently stand, walk, rotate, bend/stoop, twist, crouch, kneel, balance and reach at shoulder level and below shoulder level

  • Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50 lbs., kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting safely, with or without a reasonable accommodation

  • Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), including a dust mask

  • Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)

Team members must be clean shaven in order to perform tasks where respiratory protection is required and the use of a respirator (including N-95 dust mask) requires a proper seal for adequate protection.

We provide market-driven base pay, based on skills, abilities, and level of experiences. Our salary ranges are broad, and individual salary will be market competitive based on a candidate’s unique set of skills and level of experience. The starting range for this position is $21.80 - $29.24, with additional earning potential possible commensurate with experience. Additionally, we believe that our team members are the reason for our success and all team members are incentive eligible with a target based on contribution, company performance, and individual results achieved. While the specific bonus plan and target amount will be determined based on the role and breadth of contributions, the targeted bonus plan and targeted percentage amount for this role is Primes - Plan d’incitation aux opérations, 5% Annual.
