Sr. Supply Chain Analyst
Your role:
As the Sr. Supply Chain Analyst, you will be responsible for providing meaningful data and analysis to support the S&OP process, optimizing the network via modeling software, as well as act as the subject matter expert for the data & analytics for T&L and other Supply Chain functions. This role covers North America including Canada and Puerto Rico and Emerging Nutrition locations. This role primarily interacts with the broader Supply Chain, Sales, Operations and some external entities to deliver least cost fulfillment, a customer expectation, and enables Ardent Mills to maximize profitability. In addition, this role will supply analytics for large scale supply initiatives (strategic initiatives, S&OP, forecasting, etc). To succeed, you must be able to:

Your responsibilities:
- Data & Analytics
- Expand and optimize the use of established data best practices and tools across Ardent Mills to help drive profitability; identify synergies, opportunities for collaboration and process improvement and serve as a Data and Analytics SME for Supply Chain.
- Utilize data visualization and analytics tools, such as Power BI and other relevant software, to support cross-functional business needs. This includes developing a deep understanding of all source systems that generate data, ensuring data integrity, and effectively transforming raw data into actionable insights for analytics and reporting
- Develop and support analytics for the creation of the P&L and to enable the team to uncover trends, gaps, and opportunities for improving profitability within Transportation and Logistics.
- As a result of analysis, identify and implement new initiatives that bring value and simplicity to the Ardent Mills T&L team.
- Data owner for pricing software (Zilliant) in support of the Pricing team
- Network Optimization
- Expert on network optimization tools, model logic, and data. Support logistics team in identifying back-up capacity mills to ensure the flexibility of our network and the delivery of ELEMEDs.
- Development of the process, systems and tools that will establish a robust approach to network optimization. This includes base models, unconstrained model, what-if scenario planning leading to a comprehensive list of initiatives that Ardent Mills will pursue to improve service, reduce cost, and maximize profitability.
- Measure the performance and potential impact of the network optimization tool.
- S&OP
- Design, develop, and maintain a comprehensive KPI dashboard for the S&OP process to enable the centralized real-time insights into performance, forecasts, and trends, facilitating informed decision-making, collaboration across departments, and alignment with organizational goals.
- Submitting quarterly USDA reporting, receive the industry reports for both (US & Canada) and create internal communication that brings insights into Ardent’s market position.
- Participate in the AOP planning process by supporting the build of the sales volume plan and the downstream impacted functions, including T&L, Procurement and Operations. Responsible for creating the revenue budget for rail and truck.
- System owner of statistical forecast software ensuring accurate integration of data both to system and back to in house analytics. Responsible for the accurate upload of changes to customer forecasted volumes.
- Own creation of monthly runtime capacity planning in support of the supply planning process across all entities
Essential skills and experience:
- Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years sales, analytics, network modeling, supply chain, finance, operations or grain risk/merchandising experience
- Demonstrated ability delivering profitable results
- Understanding of customer market behavior and the capabilities of Ardent Mills plants
- Know the key levers in the business that drive behavior and results
- Strong desire to improve business acumen
- Strong technical skills with Excel, experience with Power BI report building
- Strategic thinker; creative and capable structured problem solver
- Self-starter with a high degree of energy and passion; ability to effectively multi-task and prioritize
- Collegial/collaborative style; demonstrated ability to work closely with others to conceptualize, test, and implement new ideas
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Good to have:
- Technical skills with Power Platforms, D365, SQL and other tool sets
- Transportation experience and/or knowledge of Ardent Mills TMS
- Network modeling software or similar experience
- Experience with PnLs or cost accounting

COMPETITIVE COMPENSATION:
We provide market-driven base pay, based on skills, abilities, and level of experiences. Our salary ranges are broad, and individual salary will be market competitive based on a candidate’s unique set of skills and level of experience. The starting range for this position is $86,200.00 - $114,915.90, with additional earning potential possible commensurate with experience. Additionally, we believe that our team members are the reason for our success and all team members are incentive eligible with a target based on contribution, company performance, and individual results achieved. While the specific bonus plan and target amount will be determined based on the role and breadth of contributions, the targeted bonus plan and targeted percentage amount for this role is Bonus - MIP, 10% Annual.
